Professor of Neurological Rehabilitation at the University of Warwick, and consultant in rehabilitation medicine at the Central England Rehabilitation Unit. Prior to taking up this appointment in 2016, she was Reader in Neurological Rehabilitation at UCL and Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, UCLH trust where she established and led the neurological vocational rehabilitation service. This service was awarded the VRA vocational rehabilitation team of the year award in 2015 and an MS Society QUdos award in 2017. Diane has conducted research in vocational rehabilitation in a range of conditions include Multiple Sclerosis, cancer and brain injury. In addition she has undertaken an NIHR funded survey of the national provision of vocational rehabilitation services for people with long-term neurological conditions. She has been awarded grants from the NIHR, MS Society, the College of Occupational Therapy and Macmillan for this research.
